Pasadena Whole House Fan Rebate

Receive a $225 rebate when you purchase and install a whole house ventilation fan. Get an extra $25 back when you buy in Pasadena. 

A whole house fan can help keep your home cool, at a fraction of the cost of using your air conditioning. When combined with ceiling fans, whole house fans provide acceptable summer comfort for many families, even in hot weather.

How to Qualify

  • Your whole house ventilation fan must be permanently installed to your house framing, and mounted to the ceiling (to exhaust air into your attic.)  
  • The fan must have insulated backdraft dampers, and move at least 1,000 cfm (cubic feet per minute) to qualify.
  • Receive an additional $25 if you purchase your new fan in Pasadena.
  • Submit your online rebate application, along with a copy of your detailed receipt/invoice and the required supporting documents, within 180 days of purchase and installation.

How to Apply

  • Log in to your PWP account
  • Select “Apply for Rebate”
  • Please upload your complete sales receipt or paid invoice, including:
    • Product and model number and CFM Rating
    • Date purchased and installed
  • Once approved, your rebate check will arrive in 6 to 8 weeks

Terms

  • Only residential electric PWP customers are eligible
  • Retrofit projects that require a fan upgrade to meet Title 24 requirements are not eligible
  • Limit: 1 rebate per property, every 15 years
