Pasadena Central AC Rebate

Rebates start at $100 per ton for Split System and Packaged Central Air Conditioners. Receive an extra $20 per ton when purchased from a Pasadena-based contractor.

There’s no better time to upgrade your home air conditioning system. Today’s central air conditioners use about 30% to 50% less energy to produce the same amount of cooling as air conditioners made in the 1970s. Even if your system is only 10 years old, you could save 20% to 40% of your energy costs by replacing it with a newer, more efficient model.

How to Qualify

Purchase and install a Split System or Packaged Central Air Conditioner with a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) between 15.0 to 18.9, and receive a $100 rebate per ton
Purchase a model rated 19 SEER or higher and receive $130 per ton
Buy your Split System or Packaged Central Air Conditioner in Pasadena for an additional rebate of $20 per ton
Submit your online rebate application, along with a copy of your detailed receipt/invoice and the required supporting documents, within 180 days of purchase and installation.

How to Apply

Log in to your PWP account
Select “Apply for Rebate”
Please upload your complete sales receipt or paid invoice, including:
- Product and model number
- Date purchased and installed
- Proof of SEER Rating
- Proof of tons installed
- Copy of AHRI Certificate
Once approved, your rebate check will arrive in 6 to 8 weeks

Terms

Only residential PWP electric utility customers are eligible
Limit 1 central air conditioning unit per residence, every 10 years.
